Sacraments

💧

Baptism

Baptism is the basis of our Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which opens the way to the other sacraments.

Children are usually baptized within months of birth. A preparation session is required for the first child. Contact the parish office to arrange a Baptism.

🕊

Reconciliation

Reconciliation offers the opportunity to receive God's forgiveness for sins and to be reconciled with the Church.

Confessions are usually heard 30 minutes before weekend Masses, and at other times listed in the bulletin.

🌾

Holy Eucharist

The Holy Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life.

Holy Communion is for Catholics in a state of grace. Visitors not receiving are warmly invited to come forward for a blessing, arms crossed.

🔥

Confirmation

Confirmation enriches the baptized with a special strength of the Holy Spirit.

Offered for youth in middle/high school. Adults may inquire through OCIA. Contact the parish to prepare.

💍

Marriage

Marriage is a covenant God establishes between a man and a woman for a partnership of their whole lives.

Contact the priest well in advance (typically 6+ months) to begin preparation and book a date.

📿

Holy Orders

Through Holy Orders men receive the grace to serve the Church as deacons, priests, or bishops.

If God may be calling you to the priesthood or diaconate, speak with your pastor or the diocesan vocations office.

🙏

Anointing of the Sick

The Anointing of the Sick extends the healing of Christ to those who are ill or suffering.

Call the parish office to request the sacrament for the seriously ill or elderly. In an emergency, call the priest at any hour.
