We are a Catholic Community within the Diocese of Tucson, that strives to grow through the Gospel's Values. Sacraments
- The whole liturgical life of the Church revolves around the Eucharistic sacrifice and the Sacraments. There are seven Sacraments in the Church: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony.
The Sacraments are "powers that come forth" from the ever-living and life-giving Body of Christ. They are actions of the Holy Spirit at work in His Body, the Church. As "the masterworks of God," they are at the heart of the new and everlasting covenant.
La vida litúrgica de toda la Iglesia gira en torno al sacrificio eucarístico y los Sacramentos. La Iglesia celebra siete Sacramentos: Bautismo, Confirmación, Eucaristía, Reconciliación, Unción de los Enfermos, Orden Sagrado y Matrimonio.
Los Sacramentos son "poderes que emanan" del Cuerpo de Cristo, que es siempre vivo y vivificante. Son acciones del Espíritu Santo que actúan en Su Cuerpo, la Iglesia. Como "las obras maestras de Dios," están en el centro de la nueva y eterna alianza.
- In the Church's liturgy, the divine blessing is fully revealed and communicated. Our Heavenly Father is acknowledged and adored as the source and end of all the blessings of creation and salvation. In His Word who became incarnate, died, and rose for us, he fills us with his blessings. Through His Word, He pours into our hearts the Gift that contains all gifts, the Holy Spirit.
En la liturgia de la Iglesia, la bendición divina se revela y se comunica plenamente. Nuestro Padre Celestial es reconocido y adorado como la fuente y el fin de todas las bendiciones de la creación y la salvación. OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults)/OCIA - (Orden de Iniciación Cristiana para Adultos)
The first of the seven sacraments, and the "door" which gives access to the other sacraments. Baptism is the first and chief sacrament of forgiveness of sins because it unites us with Christ, who died for our sins and rose for our justification.
Baptisms are celebrated once per month in English and twice in Spanish, Saturday 11 AM. Please call the office for more information (928)782-7516.
Bautismo
El primero de los siete sacramentos y la "puerta" que da acceso a los demás sacramentos. El Bautismo es el primer y principal sacramento del perdón de los pecados, porque nos une a Cristo, quien murió por nuestros pecados y resucitó para nuestra justificación.

Reconciliación
La celebración sacramental en la que, por la misericordia y el perdón de Dios, el pecador es reconciliado con Dios y también con la Iglesia, Cuerpo de Cristo, que es herido por el pecado.

Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which seal or "confirm" the baptized in union with Christ and equip them for active participation in the worship and apostolic life of the Church.
Requirements: Eligible students must be in 8th grade, at least 13 years old, or in high school. They must complete 20 hours of community service and attend the Confirmation retreat.

La Confirmación completa la gracia del Bautismo mediante una efusión especial de los dones del Espíritu Santo, que sella o "confirma" al bautizado en unión con Cristo y lo capacita para una participación activa en la adoración y la vida apostólica de la Iglesia.
Requisitos: Los estudiantes elegibles deben estar en 8.º grado, tener al menos 13 años o estar en escuela secundaria. Deben completar 20 horas de servicio comunitario y asistir al retiro de Confirmación.

The Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament administered by a priest to a baptized person who is seriously ill, elderly, or in danger of death due to illness or old age. Through prayer and the anointing of the forehead and hands with the Oil of the Sick, the priest invokes God’s grace for spiritual strength, healing, and the forgiveness of sins. This sacrament is not only for those at the point of death but also for anyone suffering from a serious illness or preparing for major surgery. It allows the sick to unite their suffering with Christ, strengthens their faith, and offers the possibility of physical healing according to God’s will.
