Becoming Catholic (OCIA/RCIA)

Adults who wish to become Catholic — or to receive Confirmation and First Communion — journey through OCIA (the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults). Contact the parish office to begin; most parishes welcome inquirers at any time of year.

New to Mass?

All are welcome. Arrive a few minutes early, dress respectfully, and silence your phone. Catholics in a state of grace receive Holy Communion; visitors not receiving may come forward with arms crossed for a blessing. Fast from food and drink (except water) for one hour before Communion.
